Welcome to the IB Career Related Programme in Health Careers at Alameda International.  This important and exciting pathway will prepare students for entry level positions and for further education in various health related fields. Today, there is a high demand for qualified individuals in an ever-expanding Health and Medical industry. Alameda has been granted Full Authorization as of May 2015. We are recognized as having a unique Career Program in that we are "Open Access" and that we offer a one of a kind Industry Certification in Bi-Lingual Medical Terminology. No other high school is certified to offer this important course at this time. If your interests lie anywhere from Fire Science to Emergency Med Tech to Nursing to Neurosurgeon, you can get your start here!

At Alameda, the IBCP has been offered in the area of Health Careers.  IBCP is focused on preparing students for work in these career related fields either at an entry level directly after high school, or to prepare them for further education in Allied Health or in 4-Year Colleges and Universities. While students will not take the required 6-7 Diploma level courses required by the IB Diploma Programme, this is a rigorous, career-focused program which will include significant community connected projects and practical learning.
